On the day of our RoglIT event, on 19th of January, we faced unexpected weather challenges due to the abundance of fallen snow, which prevented some of our visitors and speakers from joining our RoglIT event. We have decided to run a shortened version of RoglIT and to postpone the carefully prepared presentations to a later date when all of you who wanted to come and join us will be able to visit us. RoglIT is back with a new event, RoglIT after RoglIT, which will be a one-day event featuring the full content, so don't miss the opportunity to join us and catch all the relevant information and business inspiration for your future activities.

OUR HISTORY

Twenty-one years ago, one of the most prominent conferences in Slovenia - RoglIT - lit up the IT sky, founded by two pioneers of the IT world at that time, Pavle Jazbec, today the CEO of Actual I.T. group, and his assistant Tina Pratneker Hatić. RoglIT's story began out of a desire to get to know clients better, create more genuine relationships and socialise..

How did it all start?

The idea for RoglIT was born out of a need to create a space where people who share a passion for IT could meet, exchange ideas and delve into the latest industry content. At the same time, we also wanted to have lots of fun and unique experiences. For the first years, the conference was held in the idyllic Rogla, hence the name RoglIT. The beginnings were with a smaller clientele, but full of passion and drive. With each passing year, RoglIT developed and grew, attracting more and more participants, and one day we were faced with a challenge when the accommodation at Rogla became too small. We spent one year in Portorož and then decided to move RoglIT to our partner Terme Maribor, the Habakuk Hotel near Maribor, which is now our traditional location.

In addition to exceptional conference rooms and beautiful accommodation, the hotel also offers excellent cuisine and a host of recreational activities that can continue to bring conference guests together and allow for memorable moments outside of the conference lectures. The years during the epidemic put RoglIT on hold, but in January 2024, after a three-year hiatus, RoglIT RETURNS, invigorated and stronger than ever. Its organisational structure has changed, but the heart and soul of the conference remains the same. Initially part of Unistar, RoglIT is now part of the Actual I.T. Group, which is part of the Italian DBA Group, and in Slovenia includes UnistarPRO, PRO.astec, Actual I.T. and Itelis.
