As part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, to Kazakhstan, we, together with the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and partners from various sectors, took part in the Slovenian-Kazakh economic delegation in Astana. ACTUAL I.T. was represented at the event by Boštjan Petelin, Director of Business Solutions, who actively participated in meetings and discussions focused on networking, digitalization, and developing new business opportunities.
Here we continued our commitment to networking along the important Middle Corridor, which links Asia and Europe and also includes the Black Sea region. It is one of the most promising transport links of this decade and is of growing strategic importance - both for Slovenia and for the European Union as a whole.
During the conference, we attended a number of meetings, including one at the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where the digital transformation of logistics flows in the region was a central theme. This represents a key step in the modernization and more efficient integration of the central part of the overland Silk Road.
Digitization, automation and integration of data flows are areas where ACTUAL has strong competencies, especially in the field of IT solutions for port logistics and transport, and we are working towards transferring knowledge and technology also to foreign markets.
The Slovenian-Kazakh Business Forum opened the door to several new opportunities. Business representatives from both countries explored cooperation opportunities in ICT, logistics, mobility, construction, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and tourism. The signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also an important milestone.
As highlighted by the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Strategic Development and Internationalisation, Mag. Marjana Majerič, such delegations are of key importance for the entry of Slovenian
